أَتْقِنْ
Atqin
Recite the Qur'an with confidence.
Recite straight from the Mushaf and Atqin follows your exact position in the canonical text, live. Confirmed mistakes are shown in red — separate from words that were simply uncertain — so your revision targets what actually needs it.
Tracked live, confirmed on review
Words turn green as you recite. A word later confirmed wrong by repeated or later evidence is shown clearly, not buried in a score.
While reciting
After review — one word confirmed as a mistake
Listen mode
Play a reciter's audio in place over the same passage view, with word- and ayah-level timing where it's available.
Illustrative — a static recreation of the real interface, not a live recitation.
- Built around the canonical Mushaf
- No audio retained for tracking reports
- Uncertainty is not silently called a mistake
- Independent and transparent
Recite. Follow. Review.
Choose a step to see it demonstrated — the same word states the real app uses.
What makes it different
Built around the Mushaf, not a transcript
Positioning is anchored to the Qur'an's own canonical text — Atqin knows where you are in the mushaf, not just what a generic speech model heard.
- Uncertainty is never silently converted into a mistake.
- Revision is organised around your actual passages and recurring weak points.
- Text visibility is independent from feedback strictness — two separate controls, not one toggle.
Honest about what it can — and can't — tell you
Atqin is built to be honest about what it can and can't tell you — here's exactly where that honesty applies.
A practice aid
Not a replacement for a qualified teacher. Tajweed and makhraj-level analysis are research directions, not shipped features — no scholar endorsement, certification, or accuracy figure is claimed.
Uncertainty remains uncertain
Tracking uses automatic speech recognition, which can be wrong. A weak or ambiguous signal stays labelled uncertain — never silently rounded into a mistake or a pass.
Privacy-conscious diagnostics
If you report a tracking issue, that report contains timing and word-position information only — never audio or a transcript of what was said.

Why Atqin — أَتْقِنْ
Atqin comes from the Arabic أَتْقِنْ: “perfect it” or “do it with mastery.” I'm building Atqin because I wanted that discipline for myself and couldn't find a tool honest about what it can and can't tell you. It's an independent project today, not a company or a team. The aim is simple: help Muslims revise more fluently, while being upfront about where software's judgement ends and a real teacher's begins.
